Odisha PM Awas Yojana List 2026: District-Wise PMAY-G Beneficiary List, Status Check & PDF Download
The Odisha PM Awas Yojana List is the official PMAY-G beneficiary list that shows which rural families in Odisha have been selected for a pucca house. In 2026 there are two different lists people mix up: the sanctioned beneficiary list (families who already have a house sanctioned) and the AwaasPlus 2024 eligible list (families found eligible in the new survey but not yet sanctioned). This guide explains both, gives you district-wise official figures for all 30 districts, and shows how to check and download your Gram Panchayat list as a PDF.

October 2026 Update
The Odisha government has finished identifying who will get the next round of rural houses. On 22 September 2026, Panchayati Raj Minister Rabi Narayan Naik told the Assembly that the AwaasPlus-2024 survey covered 37,89,234 households in the state, and 28,42,020 of them were found initially eligible by the District Level Appellate Committee.
The government is now finalising the Permanent Waiting List (PWL) of these households. New houses will be sanctioned only after the PWL is final and the Union Ministry of Rural Development allocates Odisha its housing target. The minister also confirmed that no PMAY-G houses were sanctioned in Odisha during FY 2025-26 and FY 2026-27.
This follows the August 2026 push, when the state said physical verification of surveyed households would be completed by August 27 and the authorised beneficiary list sent to the Centre, with the first phase of houses expected in September.
For context, as per the official PMAY-G dashboard (16 July 2026), Odisha has an allotted target of 28,28,739 houses, of which 28,06,753 have been sanctioned and 25,47,541 completed. Families left out of the AwaasPlus survey are being covered under the state’s Antyodaya Gruha Yojana.
If your name was in the survey, check the beneficiary section below — and keep your Aadhaar-linked bank account and mobile number active so sanction and payment SMS reach you.
Latest Update (September 2026)
In a written reply in the Odisha Assembly, Panchayati Raj and Drinking Water Minister Rabi Narayan Naik said the AwaasPlus-2024 survey covered 37,89,234 households, of which 28,42,020 were initially found eligible by the District Level Appellate Committee. He also said no houses were sanctioned under PMAY-G in Odisha in FY 2025-26 and FY 2026-27 so far. The next step is finalising the Permanent Waiting List (PWL); sanctions follow once the PWL is ready and the Centre gives Odisha a fresh target.
What this means for you: if you were surveyed and found eligible, you are in the pipeline, but you are not on the sanctioned list yet. Only the official portal shows real sanction status.
Which List Should You Check?
Most confusion comes from checking the wrong list. The PMAY-G portal has separate sections:
| List / Report | What it tells you | Where to find it on pmayg.dord.gov.in |
|---|---|---|
| Beneficiary details for verification | Sanctioned beneficiaries, Gram Panchayat wise | Awaassoft → Report → Social Audit Reports |
| IAY/PMAYG Beneficiary | Your individual status by registration number | Stakeholders → IAY/PMAYG Beneficiary |
| AwaasPlus Beneficiary Details | Households surveyed under AwaasPlus | Stakeholders → AwaasPlus Beneficiary Details |
| Permanent Waiting List | Priority order of eligible households | Listed under “Most Often Used Services” |
| Installment Details | Payments released to a beneficiary | Listed under “Most Often Used Services” |
How to Check the Odisha PM Awas Yojana List Online
- Open pmayg.dord.gov.in.
- Click Awaassoft in the main menu, then Report.
- Under Social Audit Reports, open Beneficiary details for verification.
- Select Odisha, then your District, Block and Gram Panchayat.
- Choose the financial year and select Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana – Gramin as the scheme.
- Enter the captcha and click Submit.
- Your Gram Panchayat list appears with beneficiary name, father/husband name, sanction number, amount and house status.
Old Portal Links vs the New Portal
Many guides still point to pmayg.nic.in, awaassoft.nic.in or rhreporting.nic.in. These were the older addresses of the same reports. The pmayg.nic.in page still opens for some users, but the Ministry’s main portal is now pmayg.dord.gov.in, and the reports are reached from Awaassoft → Report. If an old link is slow or does not open, go through the main portal instead, and never enter Aadhaar or bank details on lookalike sites.
Check Your Name in the PMAY-G Beneficiary List
The beneficiary list is not one big file. It is generated Gram Panchayat by Gram Panchayat, so checking your name means selecting your exact location:
- Choose Odisha, then your District → Block → Gram Panchayat (the report then lists beneficiaries for the villages in that Gram Panchayat).
- Once the table opens, press Ctrl + F and type your name or your father’s/husband’s name. Try the spelling used on your Aadhaar.
- Match the sanction number and house status with your sanction letter. A name in the list with status “sanctioned” or “completed” is what counts.
The same steps work for any financial year — just select the correct financial year in the filter. As of October 2026, no houses have been sanctioned in FY 2026-27 yet (the Permanent Waiting List is still being finalised), so don’t expect new names under the 2026-27 filter.
Check by Registration Number
Go to Stakeholders → IAY/PMAYG Beneficiary, enter the registration number from your sanction letter and submit.
Check the AwaasPlus 2024 Status
Go to Stakeholders → AwaasPlus Beneficiary Details and choose State → District → Block → Gram Panchayat. If you submitted the AwaasPlus 2024 self survey through the mobile app — which uses Aadhaar face e-KYC (face authentication) to verify the applicant — your entry appears here once it is uploaded to the portal.
District-Wise Odisha PM Awas Yojana List (Official Data)
Every district in Odisha has its own beneficiary list, and you get it by selecting the district in the steps above. To help you see how PMAY-G has performed in your district, here are the official district-wise figures for all 30 districts placed before Parliament by the Ministry of Rural Development (Lok Sabha Unstarred Question No. 931, answered 13 December 2022, figures from 1 April 2016 to 9 December 2022).
Note on dates: These are the latest district-wise numbers published in a Parliament reply that we could verify. Odisha’s state total has grown since then — as per the official PMAY-G dashboard (16 July 2026), the state has an allotted target of 28,28,739 houses, of which 28,06,753 have been sanctioned and 25,47,541 completed — so your district’s current number is higher. For live district figures, use Awaassoft → Report on the PMAY-G portal.

What the District Data Shows
- Mayurbhanj is far ahead: 2,12,901 houses sanctioned, more than any other district, followed by Bolangir (1,40,784), Baleshwar (1,14,449), Kalahandi (1,01,436) and Kendujhar (1,00,710).
- Smallest numbers: Deogarh (13,420), Gajapati (14,990), Jagatsinghapur (17,866), Khordha (19,662) and Malkangiri (21,076).
- Highest completion rates: Sambalpur (99.4%), Jharsuguda (98.9%), Dhenkanal (97.7%) and Kandhamal (97.4%).
- Lowest completion rates: Kendrapara (86.4%), Baleshwar (88.3%), Kalahandi (90.0%), Puri (90.2%) and Bhadrak (90.4%). Even Mayurbhanj, the biggest district, stood at 90.6%.
- Odisha overall: 18,36,367 sanctioned and 17,13,224 completed, a 93.3% completion rate at that date.
If your district has a low completion rate, it is worth checking your own instalment details to see if funds are pending.
District Names to Select in the Dropdown
Some districts appear under different spellings on the portal. Look for these: Baleshwar (Balasore), Bolangir (Balangir), Kendujhar (Keonjhar), Nabarangapur (Nabarangpur), Sonepur (Subarnapur), Jagatsinghapur and Jajapur (Jajpur). If your district does not appear at first, try the alternate spelling.
Odisha PM Awas Yojana List PDF Download
- Generate your Gram Panchayat report using the steps above.
- When the table loads, look for the PDF and Excel download icons at the top of the report.
- Click PDF for a print-ready copy, or Excel if you want to search or sort names.
- Save the file and keep a copy of your sanction number.
If the portal is slow, a large Gram Panchayat can take time to load. Try again in off-peak hours (early morning or late evening). Printed lists are also displayed at Gram Panchayat offices for public scrutiny, so you can check there and raise an objection if a name is wrongly included or left out. This public display is part of the Gram Sabha approval process — objections raised here are verified before the list is finalised.
Eligibility for PMAY-G in Odisha
- Permanent resident of a rural area of Odisha.
- No pucca house anywhere in India.
- Houseless, or living in a kutcha or dilapidated house.
- Priority for SC/ST families, women-headed households, persons with disabilities and landless labourers.
- Under the AwaasPlus-2024 norms the Centre relaxed some exclusion rules (including a higher income limit), so families earlier left out may now qualify. A separated household — for example, a son living separately from his parents, or a woman separated from her husband — counts as a separate household. Check the current criteria on pmayg.dord.gov.in under Am I Eligible? before applying.
Documents usually needed: Aadhaar, Aadhaar-linked bank passbook, MGNREGA job card (if any), caste certificate (SC/ST), residence proof and a mobile number for OTP.
Financial Assistance
| Component | Plain Areas | Hilly / Difficult / IAP Areas |
|---|---|---|
| House construction | Rs. 1,20,000 | Rs. 1,30,000 |
| Toilet (SBM-G convergence) | Up to Rs. 12,000 | Up to Rs. 12,000 |
| Unskilled wages (MGNREGS) | 90/95 days | 90/95 days |
The money goes directly to your Aadhaar-linked bank account in instalments tied to construction stages (foundation, plinth, roof level and completion). Cost sharing between the Centre and state is 60:40 in plain areas. The amounts for each instalment can differ by state guidelines, so check your sanction order. PMAY-G also supports mason training for rural masons, so that houses are built to proper quality standards.
Many older articles mention Biju Pucca Ghar Yojana. That scheme has been renamed. Odisha’s state scheme for kutcha-house families not covered by PMAY-G is now the Antyodaya Gruha Yojana (AGY), and ongoing Biju Pucca Ghar work was brought under it. The guidelines and lists are on rhodisha.gov.in. Check this list separately if your name is missing from PMAY-G.

Urban Applicants: PMAY-Urban 2.0
If you live in a town or city, you need the PMAY-Urban list on pmaymis.gov.in, not the PMAY-G list. The online application for PMAY-Urban is also made on the same portal.
| Basis | PMAY-Gramin | PMAY-Urban |
|---|---|---|
| Area | Villages | Towns and cities |
| Ministry | Rural Development | Housing & Urban Affairs |
| Portal | pmayg.dord.gov.in | pmaymis.gov.in |
If Your Name Is Missing
- Recheck spelling, block and Gram Panchayat, and try Hindi/Odia spelling variants.
- Confirm which list you are checking (sanctioned list vs AwaasPlus 2024 list).
- If you were surveyed, remember sanctions are waiting for the PWL and a fresh target.
- Visit the Gram Panchayat or Block office and ask for the displayed list.
- File a complaint with the Block Development Officer, or use the central grievance portal pgportal.gov.in.
- Check the Antyodaya Gruha Yojana list.
Never pay anyone to “add” your name. Names enter the list only through the survey and Gram Sabha process.
