Odisha CM Kisan Yojana Beneficiary List 2026 (Kalia Yojana): How to Check Your Name and Payment Status

Read in another language:

If you are a farmer in Odisha and you are wondering whether your name is on the CM Kisan Yojana beneficiary list, this guide is for you. Kalia Yojana now runs under a new name, CM KISAN, and the list, the portal and even the payment amounts are different from the old KALIA days.

Here is the short version. The Odisha government released the fifth CM KISAN instalment on 4 September 2026. More than ₹833 crore went to the bank accounts of 41,35,978 small and marginal farmers and 13,949 landless agricultural families through DBT. If your money did not arrive, the fix is usually on the list, your eKYC or your bank seeding, and all three are covered below.

Note: this website is independent and is not run by the Government of Odisha. Applications, lists and status checks should always be done on the official portal, cmkisan.odisha.gov.in. Nobody should ask you for money to put your name on the list.

What Changed From KALIA to CM KISAN?

Many farmers still search for “Kalia Yojana list” and that is fine, but the old portals are no longer the place to check. KALIA was launched in 2018 under the previous government. When Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi’s government came in, it announced CM KISAN as the replacement in its first budget and set aside ₹1,935 crore for 2024-25.

The assistance structure changed when CM KISAN replaced KALIA. Under CM KISAN, eligible small and marginal farmers receive ₹4,000 a year from the Odisha government in two ₹2,000 instalments. Eligible farmers who separately qualify for PM-KISAN may also receive ₹6,000 a year from the Central Government under that scheme. These are separate schemes with separate verification, so the combined amount is not automatic. The state scheme provides ₹12,500 to eligible landless agricultural households for livelihood activities, subject to the current rules.

CM Kisan Yojana Beneficiary List 2026: Step by Step

The official Beneficiary List page lets you select your district, block/town and GP/ULB, then view the available village- or panchayat-level list. The page may show separate downloads for SMF, MLF and LAH categories; choose the category relevant to your record and follow the portal’s current instructions. You generally do not need to log in just to view the list.

  1. Open the official portal at cmkisan.odisha.gov.in.
  2. Click Beneficiary List and select CM Kisan.
  3. Choose your district, then your block or urban local body, then your gram panchayat.
  4. Click View.
  5. Check the download options shown for your selected GP/ULB. The official page may show Download (SMF), Download (MLF) and Download (LAH). Select the category relevant to your application and do not assume that every category shown on the page has the same eligibility rules.
  6. Open the PDF and press Ctrl+F (on a phone, use the search option in the PDF viewer) to look for your name. Try the name spelling used in your application. If you cannot find it, verify the selected category and location and use the official status page; do not assume that a missing search result alone proves rejection.

Prefer to check your application directly? Open CM KISAN Know Your Status. The current page asks for your Aadhaar number or Token Number and a captcha. Follow the fields shown on the official page; do not enter personal details on third-party sites. The page includes application verification, eligibility and payment-account details.

If you cannot go online, the gram panchayat office or the local agriculture office can help you check.

Latest Update: 5th CM KISAN Instalment Released

On 4 September 2026, ahead of Nuakhai and on Janmashtami, the Chief Minister transferred the fifth instalment from a state level programme in Bhubaneswar. According to the Chief Minister’s Office, more than ₹833 crore reached over 41 lakh families through DBT. News reports put the numbers at 41,35,978 small and marginal farmers and 13,949 landless agricultural families. The money is meant for the 2026-27 Rabi season, for seeds, fertiliser and other inputs.

An earlier round worth ₹1,041 crore reached about 51 lakh farmers in August 2025, just before Nuakhai that year. The number of beneficiaries in a round changes from one instalment to the next, depending on how many farmers have finished verification, eKYC and bank seeding.

When is the next instalment? No date has been announced as of 20 October 2026. Please ignore any social media post that gives an exact date. The state has generally released money close to major farming festivals, but that is a pattern, not a promise. Watch the official portal and the Chief Minister’s Office announcements.

Who Is Eligible for CM Kisan Yojana?

The scheme is intended for eligible farmer households in Odisha, including small and marginal farmers and landless agricultural households. Final eligibility depends on the current scheme guidelines, verification and exclusions; check the official portal before applying.

  • Small and marginal farmers, generally those with up to 2 hectares of cultivable land.
  • Landless agricultural households that depend on agriculture and farm labour for their livelihood.
  • Sharecroppers and vulnerable cultivators were covered under the earlier KALIA structure, so confirm on the portal how your category is treated now.

The following categories have commonly appeared among scheme exclusions, but this list should not replace the latest official guidelines. Confirm your specific case with the portal or the block agriculture office before relying on it:

  • Income tax payers
  • Serving or retired government employees, PSU employees and pensioners
  • Holders of constitutional or elected posts, such as ministers, MPs and MLAs
  • Registered professionals such as doctors, engineers, lawyers, chartered accountants and architects
  • Medium and large farmers
  • Minors

If you are not sure about your case, do not guess. Call the helpline or ask at your block agriculture office before you apply.

Benefits at a Glance

For small and marginal farmers: ₹4,000 per year, paid as two instalments of ₹2,000 before the Kharif and Rabi seasons. If you are also enrolled in PM KISAN, you get ₹6,000 more per year from the Centre. PM KISAN runs on its own records, so being on one list does not automatically put you on the other. You can read more about central schemes in our Central Govt Schemes section.

For landless agricultural households: ₹12,500 in three instalments to start or grow a small livelihood. The activities include goat rearing, mini layer units, duckery, fishery kits, mushroom cultivation and bee keeping.

For children of farmer families: Krushi Vidya Nidhi (also written Krushi Bidya Nidhi) supports higher technical education. The Chief Minister mentioned it again at the September 2026 event, but course wise amounts are not something you should rely on from unofficial sites, so check the portal.

Documents You Need

Keep these ready before you register or fix a problem:

  • Aadhaar card, with the mobile number linked for OTP
  • Bank passbook of a savings account in your own name, Aadhaar seeded for DBT
  • Land details registered on the Krushak Odisha portal (needed for small and marginal farmers)
  • Proof of landless status for the landless category. The exact accepted document can change, so confirm on the portal. Some reports mention a valid MGNREGA job card.

Important Registration Update for 2026

The official CM KISAN portal says that new farmer registration reopened on 6 July 2026 and that an AgriStack Farmer ID is mandatory for registration. Because registration requirements and verification stages can change, use the live official portal rather than relying on older screenshots or third-party guides.

How to Register and Complete eKYC

Before starting registration, check the current instructions on the official CM KISAN portal. The portal states that an AgriStack Farmer ID is mandatory for new registration. Land and farmer details may also need to be registered or verified through Krushak Odisha; follow the live portal instructions because requirements can change.

  1. Open the official CM KISAN portal and read the current registration instructions.
  2. Make sure you have the AgriStack Farmer ID, which the portal lists as mandatory for new registration.
  3. Keep your Aadhaar, bank details and relevant land or landless-household documents ready.
  4. Enter the information requested on the official form and complete the identity verification/eKYC steps shown on screen.
  5. Submit the form and save your token number or acknowledgement. Use it to follow up on your application.

eKYC is not a formality. Without it, your instalment can get stuck even if your name is on the list. If you are not comfortable completing the process online, ask your block agriculture office or gram panchayat for help. Do not hand over your OTP or pay an agent who promises guaranteed approval. Our guide to Seva Setu Kendra explains what kind of help these centres offer.

Name in the List but No Money? Check These First

This is the most common complaint, and it is usually solvable.

  1. eKYC pending. Complete it on the portal and check your status again.
  2. Aadhaar not seeded. Linking Aadhaar to your account is not the same as seeding it for DBT. Ask your bank for “Aadhaar seeding” or “NPCI mapping” and keep the receipt.
  3. Wrong account type. A joint account or an inactive account can cause the transfer to fail. A single holder savings account works best.
  4. Spelling mismatch. If your name or bank details differ from your Aadhaar, the payment can bounce. Aadhaar details are generally treated as the final reference.
  5. Wrong category or location. Confirm that you selected the correct district, block/town, GP/ULB and category shown for your application.

Ask your bank when the Aadhaar seeding/DBT mapping update will take effect; processing times can vary, so avoid relying on a fixed one-week deadline. If the payment still does not arrive, check the official status page and contact the helpline at 155333 or submit a grievance through the official portal.

What If Your Name Is Not in the List?

Do not panic and do not pay an agent. Go through these steps in order:

  1. Check the status page with your Aadhaar number to see whether your application is under process, rejected or not found.
  2. Make sure your land is registered on Krushak Odisha and your eKYC is done.
  3. Look at the list for the right gram panchayat. Farmers sometimes search the wrong block.
  4. Submit a grievance through the portal and note the complaint number.
  5. Visit your block agriculture office or gram panchayat with your Aadhaar, passbook and land papers.

Helpline and Grievance

The official CM KISAN portal lists the Krushi Samrudhi Helpline: 155333. Contact it for registration, eKYC or payment guidance. Keep your token/acknowledgement details handy, but do not share an OTP or unnecessary sensitive information.

One caution. A few websites list a different toll free number for this scheme. When we compared sources, the number that matched the Odisha government linked sources was 155333, so that is the one to use. You can always confirm it on the official portal.

Beware of Fake Apps and Websites

Search results are full of apps and sites that promise to show your name or speed up your payment. Several are marked as not official even by the sites that promote them. Never share your Aadhaar number, OTP or bank details with an unofficial app, and never pay anyone to add your name to the list. Use only the official portal and the government links below.

Final Word

For a practical first check, confirm that you selected the correct beneficiary-list category and location, review your application on the official Know Your Status page, and ask your bank to verify Aadhaar seeding for DBT if payment is pending. Eligibility and payment are subject to official verification, so these steps cannot guarantee approval or a transfer date. Bookmark this page and check the government portal for confirmed updates.
